JEWEL

OEM

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is software for system builders, resellers, and hardware purchasers only.

The following OEM software is for sale only to system builders and others who intend to include these reduced priced versions with new or upgraded computer systems which they are selling or distributing. OEM software is not for stand-alone distribution to end users. Stand-alone distribution of OEM software to end users is a violation of the license agreement issued by the manufacturer. Purchasers of these versions must agree not to violate the terms of such distribution policies and to accept all liability for compliance with end-user restrictions. The OEM versions are the same programs as the retail versions but are in streamlined packaging (as would be expected) in order to minimize distribution costs and to make it easier for system builders, retailers and upgraders to package such software with new or upgraded hardware.

In order to purchase OEM software from us, please fax or mail us a copy of your business license, resale tax number or other documentation which verifies to us that you are a legitimate computer system vendor.

SHAREWARE

Shareware is a unique way to distribute and market software. It allows you to try software before you buy it. The shareware material on a disk (contents) is software you can really use and enjoy as you try it out. If you plan to continue using it you are obliged to pay the author a registration fee, usually far less than you'd pay for a comparable commercial program. Registration may also entitle you to manuals, updates, special features, and additional programming. In other words, you get the best of everything for less than you'd pay elsewhere--great programs you can try for free and great prices for all the ones you want to keep.
